Courses
Hanami Pilates courses are not about having “more,” but about being clear, restrained, and responsible for the body. We divide our courses into three systems, each corresponding to a different stage of the body, training goal, and level of professional involvement.
— HANAMI's Course System
Posture Correction Private Sessions (1v1 / 1v2)
This is our foundational entry point for solving body problems. It is for people who want to systematically improve posture, pain or discomfort, movement patterns, or long-term exercise performance.
This is for you if you:
- have long-term shoulder and neck tension, lower back discomfort, or noticeable pelvic or spinal compensation;
- have exercise experience, but unstable training results or repeated injuries;
- want to build correct force patterns, rather than just “following along.”
Course formats:
- 1v1 private sessions: fully personalized, suitable for those with clear problems or in a recovery stage;
- 1v2 private sessions: two people share one coach, suitable for family members or friends with similar goals.
Our teaching focus:
- posture assessment and movement analysis;
- core control and breathing patterns;
- progressive training plans (rather than one-off corrections).
Please contact a course advisor to determine whether a private assessment is needed.

Specialized Courses — Prenatal / Postpartum / Rehabilitation-Oriented Training
Professional training that intervenes only when necessary. This system is for people with clear stage-specific needs, and places and admission conditions are limited.
Course directions include:
- Prenatal / postpartum training: focusing on the pelvic floor, core, and overall functional recovery;
- Rehabilitation-oriented training: within a safe range, exercise intervention in line with existing medical advice.
If you:
- are in a special physiological stage and need a higher level of safety;
- have old injuries, a surgical history, or long-term chronic discomfort;
- have been told you “can exercise, but don't know how to start.”
Please contact a course advisor directly, and we will determine whether specialized courses are suitable for you based on your situation.
Important notes:
- All advanced specialized courses require prior communication and assessment;
- We do not promise “quick recovery,” only evidence-based, sustainable training support;
- Please contact HANAMI PILATES customer service to book a consultation or assessment.

Boutique Small-Group Classes (maximum 8 people)
For long-term, stable practice, not quick results. Small-group classes are an important complement beyond the private session system, suitable for people who already have a foundation and want to maintain training frequency.
Course features:
- maximum 8 people, ensuring teaching attention;
- clear course structure, emphasizing control, stability, and continuity;
- not pursuing stacked intensity, but emphasizing quality and consistency.
This is for you if you:
- have completed private sessions or have a certain Pilates foundation;
- want to practice regularly and build body habits;
- like a stable, long-term training rhythm.
You can check the class schedule or book a trial class directly online.

You May Want to Know (FAQ)
Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or reach out anytime. If you're feeling ready, go ahead
1. I'm a beginner. Can I join the classes?
Of course. Our courses are designed for different experience levels. Movements can be adjusted or progressed according to individual ability. No prior experience is needed. Just come with an open and focused attitude.
2. What is the difference between Pilates and yoga?
Both emphasize breathing and body control, but their core philosophies differ. Pilates focuses more on core stability, muscle control, and body alignment. Yoga emphasizes flexibility, flow, and relaxation of body and mind. If your goal is to improve posture, build strength, and improve long-term body stability, Pilates offers a more systematic training approach.
3. Can Pilates help with fat loss?
Pilates strengthens deep stabilizing muscles and improves muscle control and body awareness. Although it is not high-intensity aerobic exercise, long-term regular practice helps improve body proportions and muscle definition, making the body firmer and more balanced. Truly lasting change comes from stable, sustained practice.
4. I have lower back or knee discomfort. Can I practice?
In most cases, yes. Pilates emphasizes control and alignment, and has a positive effect on improving joint stability and muscle balance. We recommend telling your coach about your physical condition before class. If you have acute pain or medical problems, we recommend consulting a professional doctor first.
5. What is the difference between private sessions and group classes?
Group classes train within a structured course system, suitable for building a stable practice rhythm. Private sessions are tailored to individual goals and physical conditions, providing more detailed guidance and progression plans. Both are based on high-quality teaching; the choice depends on how much personalization you need.
6. What do I need to prepare? What should I wear?
We recommend wearing fitted, comfortable sportswear that allows easy movement. We recommend wearing non-slip socks. All class equipment is provided by us. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so you can start the class calmly.
